JZ, a self-taught barber at the age of 17, embarked on her barbering journey. Starting with self-instruction, she delved into the art and craft of barbering, laying the foundation for her career.
During high school, she pursued cosmetology, furthering her knowledge and skills in the field. Subsequently, she attended hair school, gaining hands-on experience in various shops. Her contributions led to managing and actively contributing to the growth of these establishments.
With over two decades of expertise in barbering, she not only mastered the art but also embraced teaching, sharing her extensive knowledge with aspiring barbers.
Hailing from the Philippines and raised across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), JZ draws from her multicultural upbringing, enriching her approach to hairstyling and customer interaction.
Since 2013, she has established herself prominently within Toronto, solidifying her reputation as a skilled and sought-after barber.
Jon's journey from cutting hair in his garage during college to pursuing barbering full-time in 2019 reflects his dedication and passion for the craft. His love for experimenting with different tools showcases his commitment to achieving the best results for his clients. Beyond just a job, barbering is Jon's way of connecting with others and expressing his creativity. Whether it's crafting a modern fade or a classic gentleman's cut, Jon approaches each appointment with meticulous attention to detail. Outside of the barber chair, Jon enjoys staying active through various sports like rock climbing, basketball, boxing, and fishing, further reflecting his dynamic personality and interests.
